Atlanterhavsparken Ålesund
Real experiences in real surroundings are the slogan used by Atlanterhavsparken - The Norwegain Aquarium. This is one of Europe`s most unique sea water aquariums. It it a showcase for life along the Norwegian coastline. It allows visitors to observe, experience and learn about sea life close to their natural habitat. In 2013 and 2015, Atlanterhavsparken was elected as the best aquarium in the Nordic countries by www.barnsemester.se.
Fjellstua
Go the 418 steps up the mountain village Aksla to Fjellstua and enjoy the best views of the city! Fjellstua is one of the country's most visited viewpoints. The stairs were recently renovated and provide a comfortable and great experience all the way up.

In recent years, the selection of concerts and festivals has grown in Ålesund and surroundings. Byscenen Terminalen offers concerts all year round, while the summer months have festivals like jugendfest, the summer party at Giske and Ålesund Live to name a few.
