Ski destinations winter 2021/2022

Heading to the mountains? Vy runs express buses to several popular ski destinations. Read more about the various offers below.


Norefjell is located approx. 1.5 hours drive outside Oslo. The ski center has 14 lifts and 30 slopes and pistes for all ages and levels.

Ski bus 2021/2022 season

The ski bus to Norefjell takes you directly to the ski resort. For only NOK 690 you get a same day return bus ticket including a lift pass. The ski bus to Norefjell from Oslo starts December 26. During the winter holidays, there will be departures from Hønefoss as well.

Buy your tickets in advance

We recommend that you buy the tickets in advance. Departures from Hønefoss, has no ticket sales on board the bus.

Departure at 08:00 from Oslo bus station, return from Norefjell at 15:40.

Departure at 09:00 from Hønefoss, return from Norefjell at 16:35.

Hemsedal Ski Center has 51 slopes, 20 lifts, snow parks, ski cross arena and a large area for children. The trail offer is varied with slopes for all levels, perfect for friends and families.

In collaboration with Skistar, we run a transfer bus from Oslo Airport directly to Gol and Hemsedal during the winter season. The bus has its first stop at Gol, then it stops several places in Hemsedal.

This year's shuttle bus starts December 19 2021. It runs every Sunday until 1 May 2022. Extra departures Wednesday December 22 and 29.

Please note that the shuttle bus only run with bookings, so you will have to book your ticket in advance. 

Vy express VY170 runs between Oslo and Førde and stops in Hemsedal. The bus runs every day all year round. The buses are modern and comfortable buses and has good seats, toilet, wifi and air conditioning.

Note that if you travel from Oslo, there is a 30 min. stop at Gol before you arrive in Hemsedal.

Several departures from Oslo and Bergen offer a connecting Vy shuttle bus or scheduled Brakar bus service (route 360) at Gol, which allows you to connect to Hemsedal. The shuttle bus runs from December 12 through April. You can book the full journey by train and bus at vy.no/en or via the Vy app.

Hafjell Alpinsenter is located at the entrance to Gudbrandsdalen, 15 kilometers north of Lillehammer along the Dovre line. Hafjell Alpinsenter is the country's 3rd largest alpine resort. The facility offers slopes for all levels –from beginner to expert. You will find wide carving slopes, trials through the forest and trials with a view over Gudbrandsdalen.

Vy express VY146 takes you from Oslo to Hafjell in 3 hours. Search for Øyer (Øyer center) when you buy a ticket. From Øyer center it is about 10 minutes to walk to Hafjell ski center.
