Travelling with children
Please note that different guidelines may apply when travelling with children on our bus routes within Norway and on routes to or from Sweden/Denmark.
Travelling with children on Norwegian routes
Securing children in the bus
Our coaches have a limited number of car seats on board, but these cannot be reserved. Please note that we do not provide car seats for infants, so we strongly recommend bringing your own if needed.
Children travelling alone
We do not allow children under the age of 5 to travel alone. For longer journeys, we recommend 8 years as a minimum.
The form "I'm travelling alone" should be filled out and brought to the bus driver.
We highly recommend that the ticket is purchased in advance and a seat near the driver is reserved.

Travelling with children on Swedish routes
When travelling with children under 3 years old, you can choose to have the child on the seat next to you or on your knee. In any event, you still need to buy a child ticket with your own ticket.
Securing of children in the bus
Our buses are mainly equipped with 2-point belts, which are then snapped over the waist - so no booster seat is needed. You are of course welcome to bring your own booster seat or baby cover. On those buses where there are 3-point belts, we have booster seats for loan and no pre-registration is required.
Children travelling alone on Swedish routes
All children travelling alone must be at least 7 years old. It's therefore not possible to solo buy a child ticket.
Common guidelines
Strollers
Strollers are transported free of charge and are placed in the luggage compartment for the entire trip.
Seat allocation
Each child will have their own seat on board. To ensure you are seated together, we recommend reserving seats next to each other at the time of booking, as seats may otherwise be assigned separately.
