Ticketing is much faster. You are also guaranteed space. In many cases you will also get a better price if you purchase a ticket online.

There are two vending machines at Oslo bus terminal. Tickets can also be purchased through serviced outlets or by contacing our customer service. You can also purchase a ticket on board if you pay by card. Please note that you are not guaranteed space unless the ticket has been pre-purchased.

You do not have to be a registered member. You have to fill in your phone number and email.

If you have purchased the ticket online or through the app as a registered member you will find the ticket on “My pages” on nettbuss.com or under “tickets” in the app. The ticket will also be sent to your email and by text message if you chose this option.

You can also print the ticket and show this to the driver.

Contactless payments is done wirelessly, without having to insert the chip, use the magnetic stripe or enter a PIN code. The maximum allowable amount for contactless payment is NOK 399.

If you have a debit card that supports contactless payment, you just need to hold the card to the terminal until your hear a “beep”.

The transaction can be completed in less than half a second.

If you purchased a ticket at one one of our service outlets or from the customer service you will receive the ticket by email. This can be printed and displayed to the driver.

If you purchase a ticket at the vending machine you receive a paper ticket.

If you purchased the ticket on nettbuss.com our driver will be able to find the ticket based on the phone number registered. We kindly ask you to print the ticket if possible, as the validation will be faster.

If you travel within the same county you must buy a ticket directly from the driver paying by card.
